Make 2017 your best year ever!

Published by SMETenders on

Do you want to make 2017 the best year ever for your business?
If so, winning business with local authority tenders could be a great way for you to expand.  To maximise your chances of success, here are five things you can do right now to help make 2017 a tender winning year for your business.

– Make your referees notice you. Find out what they want from you this year and send them a plan showing how you are going to deliver it. And then deliver it.

– Bring your policies and procedures up-to-date. Review them and sign them to show they have been reviewed. Make sure you have policies covering all the latest issues.

– Prepare some case studies. Think back to last year and your biggest successes in overcoming problems or achieving the best outcomes for your clients. Now write down everything about those cases – what you were presented with, what you did to overcome the problems, and how great the final outcome was.

– Set up an audit schedule for 2017. Every month, a director or senior manager should take an in-depth look into one of your policies or procedures to make sure things are running the way they should. Now follow that schedule, make sure the audits happen and document the outcomes.

– Write and publish an improvement plan for 2017. Gather together all the feedback you received last year, combine it with the plans you have for your business this year and publish this to stakeholders as your “2017 Quality Improvement Plan”

Doing all of these things will mean you have the evidence to show commissioners that you are a high quality and experienced provider that listens to your clients. Doing all of this now means that you do not have to run around in a panic in the few weeks you are given to prepare the tender documentation when an interesting opportunity comes up.
